The Gender Violence and Health Centre and the Know Violence in Childhood Global Learning Initiative are hosting a follow-up expert meeting on the intersection between violence against children and violence against women.
Practitioners, researchers and funders – working to prevent intimate partner violence (IPV) and violence against children – will gather at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), 10-11 March 2016.
During the two-day meeting, the group will:
- present and discuss findings from the series of papers that were commissioned after the first Expert Meeting in London in April 2015
- develop a series of recommendations for the advancement of a more integrated research and prevention programming agenda for improved prevention of violence against women and children
